So I finally stretched my own canvas. Requirement for upper div painting. I'm actually pretty proud of myself. Its a lovely 32"x34". As for graphic design, well I'm not the best yet, but I'll get there.

So its raining outside...pretty hard, but nice at the same time. The stuff that makes you tempted to dance in it...even when you dont have the time to. And its just nice to hear you know? To enjoy the small stuff.

So, I am finally learning to drive. Got my permit yesterday. Its okay I guess. Since I don't have to log hours not being a minor and all, the driving instructor wants me to get it all done and get my license in by the end of summer. Yea we'll see. Anyway, that was the good news. The so-so news is that I am taking a break from DA for awhile. I love watching everyone's growth in art but not doing anything of my own accord for my own I feel is not good, especially with the influence of this site. So, I will be taking a temporary break.

So I have been playing a lot of pool lately as a lot of you may know as friends of mine. I absolutely love it. Its great stuff. Anyway, I was thinking that really, pool and life are very much the same thing. Sometimes what you aim for goes as planned and sometimes it doesnt. You have to take chances in order for anything to happen. Nothing is going to happen on its own. You are the one who is in control of the pool stick and thus in control of what is going to happen next, essentially what shot will be taken. There are a lot of choices to be made and you get to choose what shot will be best and what will win you your game. There is no one who can tell you what will be right, they can only give you advice. Its up to you on how or whether to take it. So...lets play pool!
